Take One Picture

Launched in 1995, Take One Picture is the National Gallery’s countrywide scheme for primary schools which aims to inspire a lifelong love of art and learning by promoting the role of visual arts within education.
We take ideas from this project at the start of every Autumn term and all classes in school use one painting to stimulate lots of creative work.
Paintings we have use include: Renoir's painting 'The Umbrellas/Les Parapluies' and Kandinsky's 'Swinging'.
