Learning at Home

How can I help at home?

You are your child's first and most important teacher. Helping your child to develop as an independent learner will help them to become lifelong active learners.

Reading to and sharing stories with your child is vital to them developing the skills they will need to become readers.

We would encourage you to make counting activities part of your day to day life, for example, counting fruit at the shops, cutlery when setting the table, going on a number hunt when out for a walk.

Please make a note in your child's home school book when you have shared a book at home or completed a homework task

It is vital that you complete any tasks/homework regularly with your child, if you have any problems please contact us.

Learning Journals

Your child's learning journal is on School 360. We will add observations when we see your child demonstrate skills required of the EYFS curriculum. Please use your parent log in to see your child's learning journal and to add observations of your own.
